The Cupcake Club: Recipe For Trouble

Have you ever made a cupcake? Well Lexi, Kylie, Jenna and Sadie certainly have! These girls are the four members of The Cupcake Club "Peace, Love, and Cupcakes".

As they go through summer and then fifth grade, Lexi and her friends have to face many problems. For one, Kylie has a new friend that she met in summer camp that she wants to meet the club, which Lexi is not excited about. Unfortunately, when school starts off, it gets even worse when Lexi finds out that the boy that she has a crush on is going to be Romeo when she's going to be Juliet in the school play. As Lexi goes through the year, with cupcake orders, play acting and new friends, she finds she's cooked herself a recipe for trouble.

Recipe for Trouble: The Cupcake Club, written by Sheryl and Carrie Berk, is a good book for people who like to hear some slightly mushy love stories. If you hate things like that, you will not like this book.
